Apply with ARO today and join our team of amazing volunteers! **This is an unpaid volunteer position**Job DescriptionThe Human Resource Coordinator supports HR processes across all business locations, promotes positive employee relations, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. This role also provides administrative support, including recordkeeping, file maintenance, and data entry.Responsibilities:Responds to volunteer questions and supports volunteer relations activitiesAssists with onboarding new volunteersSupports the processing of resignations and terminationsAssists with preparing and conducting performance reviewsSchedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR ManagerMaintains and files volunteer records and documentationPrepares correspondence and new volunteer files as neededPerforms other related duties as assignedQualificationsAvailable to perform duties during EST business hoursCommitment to volunteer 8-10 hours per weekStrong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAttention to detail and effective time management skillsWorking knowledge of HR principles, practices, and proceduresAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience, preferredThis role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).Additional InformationAbout Abuse Refuge Org:At ARO, we are here to support your personal healing journey towards your complete well-being.
